Day 1 – Arrival in Gombe and Chimpanzee Trekking

Travel by boat from Kigoma to Gombe National Park.

Complete registration upon arrival at the park.

Check in to your selected accommodation within the park.

Enjoy lunch and prepare for your afternoon trek.

Embark on a guided chimpanzee trekking experience with a park ranger.

Observe chimpanzees and other wildlife such as red colobus monkeys and blue monkeys.

Return to your lodge for dinner.

Relax by the shores of Lake Tanganyika and enjoy the peaceful evening atmosphere.

Day 2 – Second Trek and Departure

Have breakfast at the lodge.

Choose between another chimpanzee trek or a guided hike to Kakombe Waterfall or Jane's Peak.

Return to the lodge for lunch.

Rest or swim in Lake Tanganyika with caution due to bilharzia risk.

Depart Gombe National Park by boat back to Kigoma.

Arrive in Kigoma for onward travel.
