Itinerary
This five days safari offers extensive wildlife viewing opportunities in Tanzania’s celebrated national parks. The tour starts at Lake Manyara National Park, famed for lions that climb trees and over 400 species of birds. Following this, the trip continues to two UNESCO World Heritage sites the Serengeti National Park, renowned for its endless grasslands, and the Ngorongoro Crater, celebrated for its remarkable wildlife diversity.
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Arusha
Program: A safari guide from our office will pick you up at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha for relaxation and overnight. We are ready to take you on the Arusha city tour to explore this beautiful city.
Day 2: MArusha to Tarangire National Park
You will be picked up early morning from the lodge to start a beautiful journey to Tarangire National Park while carrying lunch boxes. Once the game drive is complete, we will drive you back to the lodge to relax and stay overnight. Tarangire National Park is well-known for its large elephant herds. You will see a variety of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savanna. All these while the Tarangire River winds its way through the parklands. You may see a lion stalking its prey and leopards relaxing in the trees above. Once the game drives are complete, we will drive you back to your lodge to relax, have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti National Park on a game drive and enjoy lunch at a suitable place inside the park. You continue the game drive activity in the afternoon before reaching the lodge. You spend the following day inside the park on game drives. Serengeti National Park is well-known for its great migrating herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest. However, be ready to see resident predators such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions fulfilling their role in the circle of life.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti National Park on a game drive and enjoy lunch at a suitable place inside the park. Day 5: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater while carrying lunch boxes. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is the area that constitutes the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world and one of the natural wonders of Africa. About 30 000 large mammals are resident all year round (such as buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos), and a wide variety of birds (such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards). So be ready to see many animals here within a short time.
Day 5: Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
After breakfast, you depart for Lake Manyara National Park. The journey includes a game drive and carried lunch boxes. Once you finish the game drive, you are transported to Arusha, where the safari concludes. Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its arboreal lions, which hide among tree branches. You will also see numerous troops of baboons living in the forest, accompanying you along the road from the moment you enter the park.
