Itinerary

Experience an unforgettable two day safari in Saadani National Park, one of Tanzania’s most unique wildlife destinations where the bush meets the beach. This specially designed itinerary is perfect for travelers with limited time who want an immersive and authentic safari experience within a two days. Throughout the day, you will explore Saadani’s diverse landscapes, from coastal savannahs and palm lined plains to riverine ecosystems along the Wami River. Wildlife is abundant, offering excellent opportunities to spot elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, warthogs, waterbucks, and a variety of bird species, along with the chance of encountering predators such as lions and hyenas. This exclusive safari combines morning and daytime game drives with optional scenic experiences near the shores of the Indian Ocean. Traveling in a well equipped 4x4 safari vehicle, you will enjoy uninterrupted wildlife viewing, with complimentary mineral water provided throughout your journey. Day 1: Transfer to Sadaani National Park

You will be picked from the airport or your hotel after your breakfast for your departure to Sadaani national park, the drive will take roughly 2 hours as you unwind through the beautiful setting of local villages, the historical triangle and fascinating Wami river, on reaching the park, you will go for an evening game drive to catch a glimpse at some of the wildlife in the park which includes wildebeests, hartebeest, giraffe, zebra, waterbuck and sable antelope and many others, return from your game drive and relax at the beautiful white sandy beaches before your dinner and overnight stay at your booked accommodation at lodge/Bandas.

Day 2: Game Drive, Boat Safari and Back to Dar es Salaam

A morning game drive in the park you may spot various wildlife including the big four such as lions, African bush Elephants, Cape Buffaloes and Leopards as well as many other animals, you can decide to have a picnic lunch at the beach relaxing at the fresh breath from the ocean or return to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon undertake a boat safari along Wami River which empties into the Indian Ocean with its waters and swamplands being home to a large population of hippos, crocodiles and numerous water birds great ideal for avid bird watchers. Thereafter your boat safari, you will leave the park back to Dar es Salaam back to your hotel or you will be dropped at the airport for your departure.
