After breakfast at your lodge, you will depart with Akika Adventure & Tours for Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying a scenic drive en route to one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations. Upon arrival, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater with a packed lunch for a full-day game drive.
The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and is widely regarded as one of Africa’s natural wonders. It is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, with an estimated 25,000–30,000 large animals residing within the crater year-round. Lake Manyara National Park is renowned for its lush groundwater forest, open plains, and the alkaline lake that attracts large flocks of flamingos and other bird species. The park is also famous for its tree-climbing lions, which are often seen resting in the branches of acacia trees, as well as large troops of baboons that inhabit the forested areas and frequently accompany visitors along the park roads.
