Experience an unforgettable two day adventure in Udzungwa Mountains National Park, one of Tanzania’s most unique and biodiverse destinations. This specially designed itinerary is ideal for travelers with limited time who seek an immersive and authentic nature experience within a short stay. Over the course of two days, you will explore Udzungwa’s lush tropical forests, part of the renowned Eastern Arc Mountains. The park is famous for its scenic landscapes, including dense forests, rolling hills, and spectacular waterfalls. Guided hikes will take you through well established trails where you can enjoy the beauty of nature up close. A highlight of the experience is a visit to the stunning Sanje Waterfalls, where you can witness cascading down over 170 meters into a forest valley. Along the trails, you will encounter a rich variety of wildlife, including unique primates such as the Iringa red colobus and Sanje mangabey, as well as numerous bird species. This experience focuses on guided walking safaris and hiking, offering a different perspective from traditional game drives. We leave Dar es Salaam early morning and drive to Mikumi with lunch box. Late afternoon game drive with sunset view & watch the animal’s drinking water at hippo pool. Dinner and Overnight at the camp in Mikumi on FB basis.
After breakfast, drive to Udzungwa for hiking till Sanje Falls with lunch box. Enjoy swimming at the in the cool water hole at the base of the falls. Drive to Mikumi. Overnight at Camp in Mikumi on FB basis.
Half-day game drive in Mikumi and later in daytime drive back to Dar with lunch box & drop off to Hotel, Airport/ Seaport (Breakfast & Lunch).
